Expanding our Licensing Program


This is an exciting milestone for us – I have appointed UK-based licensing agency JELC to expand and manage an international licensing programme for The Wisdom of Kids!

I’ve very happy to be working with such a fantastic licensing agency. The directors, Jane Evans and Janet Woodward, have worked with some of the biggest names you can think of and are very well respected in the licensing industry, so I think they will really help us grow the wonderful world of The Wisdom of Kids, bringing you lots more things to make you chuckle and celebrate the funny things kids say and do!

Independent UK-based licensing agency JELC is appointed to expand and manage an international licensing programme for the award-winning greetings card and gift range The Wisdom of Kids.

Soula Zavacopoulos, owner of The London Studio and creator of The Wisdom of Kids, has selected JELC to build on the success she has achieved self-publishing the greetings card range by licensing card publishers around the World to expand the retail presence of the line.  JELC will target additional categories in each territory in order to establish the brand as a market leader, including gifts, stationery, apparel, electronics, home-wares, textiles and more.

The Wisdom of Kids has celebrity fans and has won numerous awards, including The Gift of the Year Award, Card of the Year and the SBS Award run by BBC Dragon’s Den star and retail magnate, Theo Paphitis. Soula herself has been widely recognised both as a creative talent and business woman and has been featured in The Times, The Guardian, The London Evening Standard and The Independent on Sunday. Soula’s work has been shown at the Design Museum, Soula was headhunted by the Licensing Committee of the London 2012 Olympic Games and her company, The London Studio, was recently named one of the Top 20 Small Businesses in the UK today after winning the Smarta 100 Award.
